what is the first song that was sang?

Well, it's only hypothetical at this point, having been so long ago, but it's called the "Ur Song".

Nobody knows what it sounds like, but I have a track in my collection that sounds like it could be the one. It's played on a bamboo flute, used for courtship in the mountains between Burma and China. It's called "Hani Melody" after the ethnic group called Hani in China and Akha in southeast Asia. It's on a Japanese CD called "Music of Small Ethnic Groups in China, Vol. II" that's become quite rare.

I have heard that the Inuit sing the song you're supposed to sing when you kill a Wooly Mammoth. Considering that creature has been extinct for about 10,000 years, that would be a pretty old song, too.

It is far more likely the first song and songs were hummed by cavemen rather than sung by a popular group.
. However if a guess will be of any help I believe at the time it was recorded by Sony and was somewhere around 256,000-BC and was called "Don't laugh at my girl,they're all hairy like that."

You know that is a very good question and I have the answer you see the first song tht was sang was made by a mysterical and ancient creature, it was a mating call and well it was a very important day this creature I still donnot know the name and which is very unfortanant, because I would love to know how it looked but....................................................................................................................LOL!
