Chemical manufactures suggest you wait a minimum of 2 hours after you put any chemicals into a swimming pool of any size. This is due to possible eye, nose and throat irritations that could occur for some people. Most pool pumps will disburse and dilute chemicals in 2 hours to avoid irritations.
Your complex manager was wrong for adding anything to a pool being used by the guests that pay his salary. Suggest he do that in the evening or in the early morning hours before the pool is on line.

As long as you got her out of the water immediately she should be okay. He was probably adding chlorine. You should wait at least an hour to get in the pool whenever chemcials have been added to the water. Longer than that if the pool is being shocked.

No, they probably put chlorine in the pool or shock or ph balance . They are supposed to do this while no one is swimming. It could have splashed in your daughter's eyes! Stupid person!

Yes, you should be concerned.

Pool chemicals are concentrated and often somewhat caustic. They should never be dumped in the water right next to where someone is.
