How do I get rid of water in the mast and spars of a sunfish sailboat?

The boat is an AMF Alcort Sunfish, 1979 if I read the S/N right. Noticed water in them on the first outing of the year. Doesn't seem to come out even when they are standing on end.

try drilling 2 small holes and when the water is gone, fiberglass the holes.
