I didn't have a DNC...it was in the first 4 to 6 weeks so the baby (smaller than a cotton ball) and everything else passed out of me easily on its own.
They just did a pelvic exam and asked me questions and cautioned me to take it easy.

they will check you over and will evaluate whether you ned a D&C to clean you out. You may then be advised to wait a while before trying again.

They'll usually do a D&C to get all of the leftover tissue out of your uterus.

I dont know but that is sad :( I hope I never get one - I have two little girls :)
