Tall, ugly, short, and handsome are all relative terms. So the comparison to consider is being alone and wealthy vs. being poor and partnered. Without hesitation, my choice would be to have a partner. Love is the foundation of life. And one may be poor, but not necessarily destitute. Anyway, too much wealth can corrupt.
A true, loving relationship - one not based upon the wealth factor - is most honest and genuine. Together, a loving couple can work for survival and improve a lifestyle. Together, a loving couple can make sacrifices and compromises. Together, a loving couple can provide the mutual support, encouragement, and nurturing by which to succeed. And together, a loving couple can grow and prosper, as each one complements [balances] the other.

With a partner, of course. The reason we prize being tall, handsome, wealthy (or successful) is because it enhances our chance of getting some.

That's so easy. Rich persons are never alone; at least, never for very long.
Before you decide I'm cynical, I mean that a wealthy person is free to move about and travel; he's free to meet all sorts of people through his philanthropic work. And, a good and genrous spirit makes up for any number of warts and wrinkles!

That depends on the partner. If he is an ***, I'd rather be alone. I think you have to learn to be happy alone before you can be happy with someone else.
If he is the love of my life, I'd choose the latter. Give me love :)

just because i love devil's advocat, i will say tall, ugly, wealthy and alone. alone and lonely are not the same, and all the good that could be done with that much money.....besides, at my height, any chance to be taller should be taken.

I'd rather not be alone, but I'd rather be alone than with someone who doesn't make me happy. I don't care so much what I look like or how rich I am, though money does make life easier.
