it is uncomfortable to have them in, you may not be pushing them far enough. Dont worry, they cant go in too far, your body is shaped in a way that a tampon could not possibly go too far. Also about it hurting when you take it out, that is due to it not being in long enough, if you take it out within an hour or two it is too dry and will hurt. Try only using them when you have a heavy flow, and then leave them in 6-8 hours.

You may not be pushing them far enough in. Whenever I wear tampons if they push on the bone down there it hurts so bad and I am not even a virgin. Also if the tampon is dry when you pull it out it hurts like crazy. It may be because you are a virgin. I didn't wear tampons until after I lost my virginity.

urinate before inserting the tampon (this helps to relax the vaginal muscles), use a lubricant, insert as far as u can comfortably, then push in the plunger. You are not inserting the tampon high enough. It shouldn't hurt when you walk around at all. You shouldn't feel anything. Before taking it out, urinate and it relaxes the muscles which makes taking the tampon easier. Good luck.

I've heard of tampons hurting women before. I think they must come in different sizes. Not all woman can wear them. Try wearing them only if necessary maybe, like swimming or something. Phone your gyn and just ask the simple question of "should it hurt"? Listen to your doctor.

there could be a couple of reasons this is happening.. it could be cause you just started useing they and you need to get use to it!! another more common reason your putting them in wrong!!! or you could have toxic shock syndrome (tss) its rare but you might have it you should go to the doctor and get it checked out if it's really uncomfortable!! You could also try using different kinds of them and see if there is a difference I think tampax pearl is good! good luck!!

Someitmes my tampons irritate me at first, because before they get moisture in them, they are all stiff!!! Maybe you should only wear lites (an djust keep a LOT of lites around) =) I try to wear lites whenever I can, and wear regulars when I am really heavy (instead of super)

They shouldn't hurt at all. You shouldn't even feel them. Try a different brand or make sure you are using the appropriate absorption. Usually if it hurts taking it out you are using too high an absorption and it is too dry. I hope this helps, good luck!

You may be inserting them in at the wrong angle, or not far enough. It happens to the best of us. See your gyno.

You should use caution when using tampons - There is a thing called toxic shock syndrome caused by tampons - Please shift to a pad until you get it checked out. - Toxic shock can be life threatening.

This does not sound normal. Perhaps you are allergic to the product. You should see your doctor.
