Stick with things like Ross, WalMart/KMart, Target, and hand-me-downs. Also try Kohl's sales (they have a 70% off rack all the time). Kids start growing rather fast around that age, so it's best to NOT spend a fortune. Go for cheap but reliable.
My top recommendation is Wal-Mart.

i let my 11 year old and 9 year old pick out there own clothes as long as there not belly showing or strapless. They shop at limited too, D.E.B., american eagle, rave, rave girl, JCPenny, vanity, goodies,kohls, for my younger one, old navy, and pretty much all designer clothes. They will NOT shop at the gap,childrens place,wal-mart,target,k-mart, or any store that has a mix of everything and clothes just happen to be included.

My mother bought my clothing from Macy's kids section usually. I also had some from Old Navy. And I went shopping at Nordstrom's once or twice a year when I visited my aunt (it's quite pricey though).

My daddy just gave his credit card and some money and i would go in the mall and get whatever i wanted. like every store immaginable. Can you get a 00 in Wall-Mart?

mervyns, sears, kohls. Dont but young children expensive clothes...you dont want them to be materialistic
