One of my friends ghost shrimp was floating at the top this morning , she thought it was dead ,so she put it in a paper towel and then into a zip lock to freeze it until she could give it a burial. Later another shrimp was floating at the top . She took it out of the water ,cleaned the tank and went to get the dead shrimp that wasn't frozen and bury it with the other but it was alive . Now she is worried that she killed the frozen shrimp .

It depends on how long it was frozen. If more than a couple of minutes the it probably wouldn't live.
