Is there among people under 18?

Most of my age comrades (the Under-Eighteeners) don't have any political conception, other then a sort of basic conservativism. There's a lot of misconceptions about Communism here. Most people don't understand what Communism is. Most people don't know who your moniker is (I'm actually a Trotskyist, or Trotskyite, if you will, myself). People know what the USSR was, and they know what the Peoples Republic of China is, and what North Korea is, and it scares them. People don't understand betrayed revolutions.

True Socialism is Social Ownership and Democratic Management of Major Industries. Bullshit Socialism is a massive, tax-laden Government bureaucracy. True Communism is a moneyless, classless, democratic global society. Bullshit Communism is an oligarchal party-state where the government owns everything and runs everything.

It's good to see another Trotskyist around. We're scarce, nowadays.

Ah, yes, I think there might just be a little anti-Communist sentiment in the USA. There was this little thing called the Cold War that lasted about 40 years, and during that time the word "communist" became equivalent to the word "fascist." Though Communism in American became a highly negative term by 1900, and "socialism" got tossed into that category by 1936. If only Upton Sinclar had won the governor's race in California. But I'll quote Lennon (John the Beatle, that is) "If you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, You ain't gonna make it with anyone any how."

Not so much under 18. Most ppl in general don't even know what communism is.

50+ are still incredibly brainwashed from the bomb shelter days that communist are evil. Reality is that capitalism breeds greed. I have a lot of hope for the new generation in seeing the truth of things.

only the older generation, their still brainwashed from the cold war, the most of the younger generation don't know what it is because their too ignorant and materialistic, watching ******* mtv, a bunch of empty-headed captialist. However becuas of the iraq war and it's unpopularity with many americans, a new generation of leftist have been born, some who are discovering what communism is or re-examining it for themselves, tather than what some teacher or parent said it was.

Many people under 18 are ignorant and fall into the belief that Communism is the "fair" and "right" choice. Capitalists know better.

It's becoming weirdly ubiquitous. I don't think they even know what it means.
