I have told my ex-husband if he wanted the CPS to come veiw where the children live, making sure it is a safe place and all is fine. He doesn't want my address to come see the kids. He lives in Cali I live in Utah. He want so when he comes to visit he can harass me.

I have also offered to meet at a police station for visitation and he has refused. The last time he took them he called me after he picked them up and told me he was never bringing them back and if I wanted them I would have to come get them. I did and took a police officer with me. Nothing was done about it because he moved to Cali right after it happened. We go to court on Wed. becasue it has been 11 months and he still refuses to sign the divorce papers and I just want to be as prepared as I can because even though he is $3000 behind in child support somehow he can afford a lawyer and I can't.

I would take your ex-husbands threat against you, very seriously. Do not try to analyze it or dismiss any threats by anyone against you.
No matter how small a moment or happenstance something may be, if the court order or protection is violated in any way, report the matter to the authorities.
And, keep duplicate orders of any and all complaints. Preferably in a safe deposit box. Take nothing for granted.

Why you were denied an order of protection is beyond me. I have been in a similar situation and feel for for you. Although I don't know the exact answer to this i reccommend you call your local police station and talk to an officer. or seek some other legal help. Good luck

IF he still has parental rights he probably does have a right legally to know where you live. However, he also legally has to take you back to court and prove that in order to find that information out. More than likely he is not going to take you back to court and spend the money to do so. You would also have your chance in court to explain that he was abusive, and he probably wants to avoid that revelation in court.

he doesnt have a right to know where you live. If he pays child support, he has a right to see the children, but you can arrange that in a public place ( police station lobby would be a good place) Dont let him find out.

If your ex-husband has any legal rights to your children, ie joint custody or any visitation rights, he has the right to know where they are. However, if you can get a good attorney who specializes in cases such as yours, you may qualify for other forms of protection.

No, If you are scared and even threaghten by your exhusband the courts can prevent that information to be given out to him. There are also restraining orders that can prevent him from going to your home, but if you place a restraining order the address is automaticlly given to him.
