to work 80 hours a week to support you family. to have an opportunity to change yourlife for the better. to raise your quality of living, like it says on our statue of liberty
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
with silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
if thats illegal. dont you think that maybe we need to change the laws? this is america, the people speak, nothing is written in stone. dont you think were moving backwards? dont we need to claim our right to make this country in our vision?

It's illegal to come here and be undocumented. There are laws and quotas for a reason. Illegals cause problems in law enforcement, health care, and the education system. What would happen if Americans crossed the border into Mexico illegally and demanded the rights that illegal immigrants are demanding here?

All that Statue of Liberty stuff is great, but did you ever notice that it's in New York right near Ellis Island where millions of LEGAL foreigners entered the country.
Legal immigrants are still just as welcome as they ever were. If you think that America should welcome anybody sneaking illegally cross the border. Try sneaking into Mexico from the Central America countries.
Or is it just okay for Mexicans ? What makes them so special ?

back in the day there were rules and regulations to enter the USA. why should we be any different now? sure, the immigrants do the jobs no one else wants but who's fault is that? i used to work those crummy jobs in my youth and shame on all of you who don't make your kids go get some of those crummy jobs. it builds character and makes them learn responsiblity as well. but go ahead and let your kids sit in front of the tv and rot while everyone hires those illegals. get your heads outs your a@#^s.... oh, and did you realize these same illegals are spitting out kids like rabbits and since they don't make enough money to support them, you and i must do it via taxes, welfare, insurance, etc....so my family as well as yours has to go without because we have to take care of someone who doesn't have the IMMEDIATE right to be here. wheres your brain..oh, i almost forgot..its up your A@*.

It is NOT against the law to come to the U.S., people are attempting to stop ILLEGAL immigration !

Don't disrespect those that have come before you - legally !

Do what you have to do, fill out forms, etc etc etc. but do it legally and reap the benefits and participate in the LIFE that is that of a legal immigrant. The U.S. was built that way !!

Ummm.. it's not illegal. There are legal avenues for immigration.. as opposed to running across a border. Please cite an example of another sovereign nation that allows people to enter for permanent residency without following immigration laws?

Don't confuse the issue... immigration is alive and well.

Illegal immigrants, (read - " criminals "), should be lynched with their own intestines.
