If I were smart, I could figure out how to be funny or funky. If for some genetic reason, funny and funky weren't options, I could still figure out how to make the most of my life. Whereas if I were funky and funny, but not smart I would be more limited in finding options to deal with the deficiency.

I'd rather be funny because you actually have to be smart to be funny so you get two for the price of one. Funny people have to be smart to be funny and see the humor in things. Dumb people are rarely funny and if they are it is only because people are laughing at how stupid they are.

I am the funny one, hubby is the smart one, first child is the funky one. A good combo. (This is what I would choose for us anyway!)
