First off there are no new XP processors. There was a time about 8-10 years ago older processors where still on the market past their prime. Not anymore as companies discontinue production right away of older processors. AMD is now into dual core and 64 bit processors. You can try eBay but do not believe anyone who says it is unused as I can not imagine how that is possible unless it is in an unopened box with the warranty seal in tack. insure the person guaranties that. Good luck.
Edit update: I am a die hard fan of newegg.com and I can tell you for a fact that the only thing they have right now in a 266 is an 1800 Duron and that will not last long. The plain truth is, the 266 mhz fsb is out. You might try a local mom and pop computer place (besides eBay) in your town as they hang on to older parts. Sorry
