overnight longs for bed, unless your with someone your dating if so use tampons.... if your at work, or hanging out during the day...pads&tampons, because less risk for an accident.......if you're just around the house.. pads. You really want to wear pads for the first 2 days to allow your blood clots to pass through sucessfully, then you may opt for tampons... I always wear tampons on my last couple of days, that's when it almost nothing there. Good luck.

Tampons definitely, pads make you feel like you're wearing a diaper!! Plus with tampons you can't even feel them and you can still go swimming and do whatever you normally do!

i would say it matters on your schedual like if you are always around people and cant get away for a while id say tampons because you can wait to change it later pads make you self concious right after but if you arnt tied down to a schedual then pads

i use pads from always. becuz even though it does make you self consious, i know that i am safe and wont have accidents, unless i dont change it for a very long time. i am scared of wearing tampons because you can catch tss from it if you dont change every 2-4 hours i think. so you always have to keep on your mind to not forget to change it.

Both - the pads are back-up. Just keep in mind the risk of toxic shock and don't be stupid about being clean. (Skip a pad if you are going swimming.)
