Start your computer in safe mode:
Press F8 when windows is booting. Select the Safe Mode option. (Just Safe mode, not DOS or any other one.)

When your computer comes up you should be able to delete the file. Reboot normally.

I would not be supprised if the file recreates itself, make sure you have antivirus and antispyware and that they are up today with definitions, and be sure to scan your computer ASAP.

If you need free antivirus and antispyware

Google: AVG FREE
Google: Spybot Download.

Good luck.

a top notch spyware program that works in real time (which claimes to be the only one on the net that does this) and so far it does!! I had mine for 4 months now and it catches everything and deletes it! it is called spyware doctor you can download it at netscape.com and get the full version for $19.95 The full version gurads from the time you got it and from the time you got it back it will scan your drive and detect all the nastys and display them for your desision it will tell you if it is a virrus or worm

but if it saids it is a virus then a spywear willl not do anything for you norton's ant-virus will but I run both of them as a team and what one was not built to do the other one does and yes both programs update on the internet for 1 year and then you have to renew at the end of the year or stop useing them all together

Ok first, first who wants to answer this question in there sleep LOL that would be easy to cure if you pressed F1 and read some help file but turning off the restore feature in system folder and then boot the computer in safe mode and run an anti-virus program to get rid of the virus then create a new restore point at this time still in safemode the computer will tell you this feature is still turned off ... do you want me to turn it on for you? you say yes then create your restore point and only use that one! if you need to then reboot the system do a disk clean on drive C then check all the boxes for cleaning and click on advance and clean out all old restore points but the current one will remain and then defrag the drive reboot and it will be gone

First boot into Safe Mode by hittnig the F8 key during the boot process. Once there, run your anti-virus program, which hopefully get rid of the virus(es). Good luck,
