People are vengeful when they feel hurt or betrayed. You should be able to stop the attack by reporting the abuse to the webmaster of the message board - this is inappropriate behaviour. Good luck.

Create a 2nd profile and "wage war" with your antagonist. They will leave you alone in favor of flaming your "alter-ego"
Occasional appearances by your evil twin, attacking these losers, will keep them off-guard.

You can't stop them but you should be able to report them as being abusive.
