I noticed at Las Vegas when I was only 19 that nobody carded me, they saw me as older I guess. They carded my brother but left me alone. Some people aren't careful (guards) or just don't care. So 21 is the legal age for slots, tables etc..Your cousin probably looks over 21

She's lying. The law states you must be 21 to gamble. If a minor plays a slot machine and wins, you will not receive your winnings... So, its not even worth trying if you are underage. (Not to mention the embarrassement from being arrested or thrown out.)

Listen Hon, you have to be 21 years old to stay on the casino floor; there are signs all over the casino floor that state; "It is state law that you have to be 21 years old to play in the casino."

well it depends on how old you look if they ask you for your id. Once my mid thirties aunt was asked an id to go see a rated R movie.

If she gets away with it, that would probably be because she looks much older than 16. If you get ID'd, that is a compliment, you look youthful. You'll appreciate that more and more as you get older, believe me. She, however, will not hold her looks as long as you will.
