Absolutely not, we're born spiritual beings with the ability to stay in the moment, but something happens along the way. I feel it's the inability to cope with modern civilization and all that goes along with it. When man was nomadic tribes and had no sense of ''mine'' I'll bet things went a bit different.

The Nature Versus Nurture debate is as old as the hills. Personally, I don't think that anyone is "born evil". It is your environment and upbringing that dictates how you turn out. It is the morals that are instilled in you from from a young age. I don't mean Religious morality, just the everyday rights and wrongs of everyday life. For example, If a child doesn't learn boundaries from a young age, then nothing is ever seen to be taboo or unaccepable. This can lead to behaviour that people can perceive to be evil .

People are not inherently evil. If anything they are neutral. However, the human's basic instinct is for survival and if this means survival at the expense of another, that could be construed as evil.

One could say that human is NOT inherently noble or heroic. Only Hollywood would make us think he is. For example, look at all of the most horrific events in human history (the Holocaust and other genocides; religious fantacism; even the sinking of the Titanic). Movies would show us the one person in one million who is willing to put his or her life on the line to save another. But if we look at the actual events themselves, the majority of humans will do anything to maintain their own safety. Still, this isn't evil. This is instinct - selfish instinct.

only if it is taught. if you have seen those faces on people and they just look evil, like the way their eyes are shaped and how they smile and whatever, and their humor verifies it, well if you spark that trait in them when they are an enfant, they will grow to like it b/c it gets them what they want. almost like the children who like to throw things and a big doofus sits there and laughs at them, well the child will do it again and again for the attention. then it will turn to other things eventually. but as an adult you already know, that you have a choice to do evil things. so yes, it is a choice. so, teach children right, teach evil doers something righteous that they will like to revert to, and slowly the effects of evil will reverse or undo. and for the christains, is it that evil is derived from eve?

No. Evil is an evil, human is human. But, human can be an evil. And in this world, many human are contaminated with evil characteristic or nature. That's because their more closer to evil during their life, than to God. That's also because they already become a slave or servant of hegemony, power, domination, money, etc etc in their life. So, they cannot control emotion, humanity, and become an evil.

No, Evil is enetirely subjective, it has no existence in any objective context. Murder, lying and oppression all have subjective causes and exist outside of humans, they are motivated more by fear based systams and less by inherent traits.

manking is capable of evil ever since the fall of mankind in the garden of eden. it sounds funny but it is true. we inheirit it all the way back from Adam. we were created without knowledge of it but after we sinned then we were 'awakened' to it. what would earth be like if there was no evil? a lot better than it is today.

No. Mental illness, by whatever name - narcissism, post traumatic stress disorder (after a traumatic childhood?) plus, of course, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders can be attributed to criminal activity. Fear, not greed, often in the form of insecurity, is probably the biggest cause of evil.

yes. Humans are the only thing in the world that can be evil (or good), since only humans can choose their actions.
