She's had a lifelong history of issues....abandoned by her parents and rejected by her own son for the last 15 years. She's attemped suicide twice and my father never made her get help (I was out of the house when this happened). I told her after each attempt to get help and that I would go with her. She would tell me she went, but then my father would tell me she lied to me about it. She's 65 and always up and down emotionally. I don't know what to do anymore.

Try going with her.

Set up a family group therapy session where you can express how you feel.
