I think it should not be done because it's a very private thing. I think Demi looked great in Harper Bazars magazine, and she has class in that picture, but miss rollers in the head Britney Spears is a complete fake picture of her, air brushed and painted to perfection , as she is not.
I think Demi did it for acceptance of the human body which is fine, but britney did it for getting attention , as a desperate action nowadays .

Personally I would not do it for the public. I would do it for a personal shooting for my husband and I. But not for the entire world to see me naked and much less pregnant.
Women, some look pretty headious showing everything off.

I feel that a woman should never be ashamed of her body especially when she becomes pregnant. But I feel that during this time of a woman motherhood should be special to her and the husband or the special person in her life. to see how her body has changed and that is so special. Because that wonderful human being inside of her is letting her know that because of the new life and the developing and growing of the child is special and that it shouldn't be share with the whole world. And what maybe sexy to someone else may not look sexy to the next indiviual. Woman are beautiful regardless of the shape whether pregnant or not. Some things should be left for the mind to wonder what is and what is not.

The problem is the same as with other magazine covers. They are so air brushed that girls can try all their lives to look like these people who don't actually look like that themselves in real life. And pregnancy is a time of so much change in your body that seeing somebody looking like a perfect little madonna on a cover is sure to make a pregnant woman feel insecure and ugly. Nothing wrong with pregnant nudity, but show it as it really is or don't show it.

I think a lot of women are the most beautiful during pregnancy.
Demi Moore may have proved that.
I think any other magazine cover similar to it (i.e. Brit Spears) is just copying.

The human body is quite beautiful and amazing, the body of a pregnant woman just as much so. I don't see anything wrong with a woman making the choice to pose nude while pregnant if she chooses to do so. It's especially amazing when you think about how a new life is inside her womb and developing each day, the human body is truly a piece of art.

It's interesting how everyone speaks of how supposedly fake Britney Spears is as opposed to Demi Moore, as if you all knew the reason either of them were posing.

And in response to the comments of airbrushing, EVERYONE posing for a magazine has been airbrushed.

As for those opposing seeing pregnant women in anything but shrouds - which is what you would obviously prefer, get over yourselves...

That's a bit on the freaky side!I heard Brittany Spears did it.If I was her baby,Sean Preston,by the time I was old enough to realize that my mother posed nude for a magazine cover I'd disown her!

I actually dont think it should be an issue,I am currently pregnant and my hubby loves my body naked. If I had the guts to pose then I would love a "demi moore" style picture.I find the pregnant body highly facinating

i think it is better than women posing naked when not pregnant. pregnancy is a natural thing that everyone should know about.

I think it's funny that 25 years ago when women posed nude, they were considered "slutty" sell outs by feminists, who did not accept the argument that these women were "owning" their sexuality by expressing it on their terms. Now it's mostly feminists doing all the nude posing -- because it's a way of expressing their feminity and owning their womanhood!
