I agree with you 100%. I am really trying hard not to be judgemental on others. Recently, I was watching a music video in which a girl was near nude, crawling on her hands and feet in a locked cage. The first thing I said was, 'why would you want to treated like an animal for men to have fun' As soon as I said that, I realised I had just been judgemental because I do not know the reasons that drive people to have the jobs they have, or do what they do.
We judge people on the pre-assumtion that we know everything going on their lives. Which is not true, you never know what is going on in anyones lives till you care enough to talk to them and find out why they have made the choices they have. And most times, people are able to really validate why. They make choices because that is the only thing they could do.
I got to this point of not judging people or saying anything about anyone without knowing 'why' because I had people pre-judging me because I moved to a different country to live with my partner. I became the one in those shoes and it opened my eyes to what others may feel like when you say things about them without knowing them or who they are.
Thank you for posting this, I have it on my mind all the time.

Ok what the hell. First, this is an opinion and not a question. Second, I see a 16yr old with a baby and think they are babysitting a younger sibling. Third, praying helps nothing ever. I have two views for that. On one side if you believe in god you usually believe she(yes i think it would have to be female) has a masterplan and pray is asking for it to change, which is wrong and immoral. On the other hand if, like me, you believe god is a made of peice of fiction used to explain how the world came into existence and stays working then there is no point praying to nothing. However i do feel the world is over judgemental. Guess what you can't change that.

Here's a little story about some judgmental assholes...
My daughter was in 8th grade and had to carry around a computerized baby for the weekend. She's white and the only baby they had to give her was a black baby. This doll looked real and had a baby carrier, you had to feed it, it cried, etc.. Just like a real baby. We had to go to the grocery store and when people saw her with that black baby, she got the dirtiest looks you can ever imagine. It sure taught us not to ever judge anyone because we felt really bad after what we had gone through. People need to learn to be more caring towards others. Some people can be real jerks.

Seriously, i agree. the thing about the 16 year old and baby does sometimes go thorough my mind. But it could just be their bro or sis. People are way too judgemental.

Hey, there's a difference between being a smartass and being judgemental. Sometimes dumbass questions deserve smartass answers. As for being judgmental, I try not to assume anything and I try to help when and where I can.

everyone judges its just a matter of wether u think these thoughts are true.
if u see a muslim or iraqi whats the first thing u want to say... terrorist, it may not be true and u know its wrong but u still think it.
what do u think when u see a mexican at home depot... exactly my point.

You are right of course, you've made me see things in a different light, but I doubt it will last long and on every occasion...way to many a$$holes and stupid people out there. Some folks get what they deserve.

Simply and purely, we are all animals at nature. When we see a weaker or different being, instead of killing it like animals do, we make it know its bad. This also helps insecure people by making them feel bigger tahn someone.
