Why do some females think that they are all that when their really not?

Good question. I often wonder this. Probably deep down inside they are very insecure and this is just a front so as not to face the truth.

There are plenty of people in the world who want to tear us down and make us feel unworthy, inadequate and not good enough. It's important to try to block out those messages and feel good about oneself. Sometimes, some people go overboard.There is another component to this problem and that is women are often pitted against each other. So, women are more likely to pick out another woman with "high self esteem" and immediately feel resentful or angry toward her which, in reality, she is just trying to wade through all the negativity in the world.

It somewhat easier to deal with an overconfident person than one with no self-esteem. At least the person with a high self-esteem will try to better themselves and not let the world bring them down.

Edited to add: Why is it that nobody ever asks this question about a male? Men are "allowed" to believe in themselves and even be confident. It is only considered a negative trait when it's a female.

Because they're really not. They know this deep down and are attempting to prove to people what they are not by being the opposite. Actions reveal character. Acting reveals concealment. If they can accept themselves with authenticity they can be okay. Then they naturally improve and grow without the act. The personal respect and admiration follows to one who strives for self improvement. Isn't that more attractive!

Perhaps they have self confidence. Do they make you feel insecure? Who decides what females 'are all that' ? Were you voted 'all that'?

You will have to question your own inner reasons for being occupied with how other women act or feel about themselves, then you may gain in the self esteem you need. Because if you were 'all that', you wouldn't need to ask such questions.

Because they always have guys hitting on them, so it validates their thinking about themselves. Much like the star athlete or movie star. You tell someone long enough how hot they are and they think they can **** on everyone else as inferiors. Don't worry though honey, you can probably get a date faster than they ever could because they stupidly believe prince valiant awaits them around the corner.
