Do you think most people establish relationships with each other for connections, money, sex etc? If so, how can i tell if someone is really genuine and NOT a user?

well, everybody's looking for SOMETHING in the relationship... be it sex, companionship, love, money.

in that sense, I guess we are all "users"

I don't believe that most people are users. I think most people are honest and genuine.

Unfortunately, it seems the users get around more. They are never satisfied, and so they move quickly looking for more victims.

I don't know how to tell a user at first glance. If a person is totally focused on themselves, and loves to talk about how great they are, that is probably a strong warning sign.

Well... my opinion is that we all have some kind of interest in establishing a relationship, it's just the nature of it that makes the difference. Some just want to use you while others want to be used :P

Not most, but many. The only way I know of to differentiate them is to not give them anything and see if they stick around. See if all the get-togethers are about you doing something for them. Don't call and see if they call. If you are initiating all the connections or the only ones they initiate is "needing" something, then the conclusion is clear.

Good question. I think we are all users from one degree to another. A true friend is someone who's willing to give and take, and be fair to the other person.
