The 'holy land' is a desert. I'm sure this all started from water disputes.

in here i can't surely give out the detailed answer but maybe a brief...the conflict started when once exiled Jewish ppl, by the help of British gov, occupied and settled in Palestine after the WW2

Then, again the British gov help them to settle well including developing their own gov and with a backup fund established a nation in 1948 in which without any consent from UN.

From here where the bloodshed started to take place...the dissent ppl of native Palestine (the Arab) were angry that someone else had illegally come their homeland n from nowhere establish a nation. Thus, forcing them to apply aggressive force which continue until now...

well not to bore you with too many specifics, it basically all started with the religious conflict between islam and judaism. they have doctrines, so it seems obvious either one of these or none of these is correct. each side thinks it's correct. but that's only the root of the problem (seeing as how israel is jewish and palestine is muslim). both religions share common holy grounds (e.g. jerusalem), and both countries attempt to have their borders include their own holy grounds, so there will be conflict. still this does not directly answer your question. the direct reason for the conflict between israel and palestine is that all throughout european history, especially during the 19th century racism (social darwinism, which basically claimed the white nordic race is superior to other races and fueled westerners' racism against other races), jews were being oppressed, limited to ghettos for living, restricted in their career opportunities, and their cultural backgrounds were generally viewed with stigma. some just went along with this oppression and tried to change their ways to assimilate into western european society while abandoning their pure judaism, but others resisted. this includes theodor herzl, who is considered the founder of the zionist movement, which attempted to make all the oppressed jews of europe form into one nation (in light of all the nationalism and new nations that were being created during the period in europe such as italy and germany) that was at their holy grounds of jerusalem. after adolf hitler of nazi germany attempted a final solution to germans' problems to eliminate all the jews in europe in what many people today call the holocaust (he did so with the racist attitude of social darwinism and to try to establish german racial dominance) during world war ii but failed to eliminate all the jews, many jews in europe felt that it was proper that they fulfill the goals of the zionist movement (in fact, while in the concentration camps of the holocaust, many dreamed that this was a good goal and a paradise) and live with jerusalem. the british (who were one of the allied countries that won world war ii against germany), under foreign minister arthur balfour, declared that the state of israel was to be created. this ejected many of the palestinians who you would actually think had the rights to the land because they lived there at the time, and the declaration made them homeless refugees. the palestinians felt this was unjust; in fact, many of the british supported the jews because the british were predominantly christian, and christianity is more similar and shares more connections to judaism than islam does, and the british seemed to consider the feelings of white jews more than those of non-white palestinians. so, a palestinian resistance movement formed with leaders like yasser arafat. later, muslim egypt, with the aid of the ussr and its allies (which supported egypt in contempt of the us, britain, and others, which supported israel), tried to gain more influence and land in the area, but israel actually expanded its land area after the conflict because its allies spent considerably more resources supporting it than the ussr did for egypt. so, when israel got more area, more muslims were evicted from their lands, and resistance continued. it continues today with a palestinian state that incubates a desire to protect its people versus an israeli state that also incubates a desire to protect its people. i hope i cleared up the issue. (edit: also, recently, it seems that jewish israel represents the growing westernization of materialism and vanity in the region, while muslim palestine represents the resistant anti-westernization and specific traditions of the region. this gives more reason for both sides to conflict.) the hero strikes again!

Because Arab peoples believe it is theirs because they have been squatters on it for a couple of hundred years, and Jewish people believe it is theirs is because their ancestors exterminated the previous owners of it a couple of thousand years ago.
