He is totally fine. very healthy looking, active, has appetite.. Danni had those spots for maybe 3-4 months now. Is this normal?

It sounds normal. I've seen many Betta's with these dots - and I myself think it's a nice look for them.

I wouldn't worry unless he stops eating, has any fungus or cotton growth on him, or anything that seems very unnormal occur.

It's likely not an issue. Bettas often tend to change color slightly as they reach maturity, and sometimes as they age. As long as the black parts of his fins are the same other than color he's fine.

Yes somefoods change your fishes color. I had three for 3-6 years. I now have 2, the other 1 passed away acouple weeks ago.

A polka dancing fish would be somewhat unusual... Pokka dots are not.

Its probably just his color. Some foods can enhance it or if he was still somewhat new maybe he was a little stressed when you bought him and his natural color came out.

its normal...they change of colors once in a wile.. you can even give them food enhancing to see how it changes of colors..
