yes, how bad is the damage. If your drive can be seen in the bios there is a good chance you can get the data off using software, like Ontrack Easy Drive recovery Pro (standard edition will set you back $200, or free on... ).
http://www.ontrack.com/software/
if your drive is no longer detected in the bios then you will need to call in the help of a professional.they will build the physical disks into a case of same model harddrive as yours and then recover it. Check the Yellow pages in the phonebook, under the section data recovery.
You don't actually say which drive is the damaged one. If the damaged drive is the drive on which your OS is installed and you are still using it this very minute then the chances of recovering any lost data decrease with every second that passes.

Hi. Minitool Power Data Recovery is free. Download and install it on your computer. Open it and you will see 5 modules on its main interface. Different modules should be used to deal with different data loss situations. Choose “Damaged Partition Recovery”. After selecting a suitable module, you can see detailed operating prompts at every step.

How bad of the damage? If it still sees the drive partition, you can probably just plug it in your computer as a slave drive and grab all the files from there.
