Some places you need parental consent for birth control pills and boys don't like using rubbers cause its like playing beat the clock when trying to put one on (thats how my husband puts it)

First of all you try telling your parents that you want to get on the pill when you're the baby of the family and you're 17. And guys they figure oh i'll pull out or i'm drinking mountain due. Most guys get to excited and forget about being safe and girl's are to shy to tell them or ask their parents.Plus girl's will do things with their friends where one will try one thing and the other will try another then whatever they think (after they all agree on one) works best is what they all do.

1. They want to have sex very badly.
2, They have sex very badly.
3. Their parents have taught them morals and ethics badly.
4. They think protective sex is bad.(doesn't feel good)
5. They get bad results.
6. Then they blame everyone else badly.

Society but parents particularly haven't taught morals, and ethics. They have taught (badly) about the responsibilities required in raising a child. The teens do not understand because they are not morally mature, emotionally mature, psychologically mature, and, of course, not financially mature.

So they do what they want (without the accountability or responsibility to go with it) very badly.

because every source of info out there (friends, school health classes, magazines, hollywood, etc) is telling them it's OK to engage in relations before marriage, as long as you're "careful." Let's think about that... Why are there "age of consent" laws? Because children are not capable of making informed decisions on such matters! The only "Safe Sex" is abstinance until marriage! Why not teach them that?

Because they are still children. The mind seperates children from adults. Adults are responsible usually. Teens don't know exactly what that means.

They're still children and they're anxious to create children. But at least it's all teens, not teens mixed with adults.

Actually teen pregnancy is less common than it used to be, thanks to sex ed in schools.
