I used to host an 80's show on the radio called "The Retro Show" in Marshall, Minnesota from 1995-1998 on KKCK (99.7). I love 80's music and have many favorites from the mainstream hits to the totally obscure. Just wondering what your most "rad" tune from that great decade!

I have many favorites, but the song that always makes me happy is "Come on Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners. I also like "Close to Me" and "Inbetween Days" by The Cure. Oh, and remember The Psychedelic Furs? They had some good songs--"The Ghost in You," "Heaven," and "Heartbreak Beat." I like those because they remind me of my childhood. One of my favorite albums ever is the first one by The Stone Roses. I think it came out in '89. Oh, and can't forget The Smiths--"Panic" is such a catchy song.

I don't like much from that hair-laden decade, but I'll cast a vote for Metallica's "Fade to Black."
