It's all the coach's fault. He should never let ronaldo in front alone. I mean Ronaldo is not as fast as he used to be...and leave him in front alone (without Adriano or Robinho)...it ain't right! That Formation 4-5-1, not brazil. The coach think too much about ronaldo being "Special". Who agrees with me?

Agree totally-
Ronaldo, although he managed to score some goals (due more to the opposing defense's ineptitude, than skill, IMO), is done. Over the hill. He was not fit- and also Adriano, was a non-entity.
Also, what happened to Ronaldinho???
Maybe he should stick to comercials.
The French are an "old" team, by football standards, yet they put on a football clinic today - Barthez had to make ONE save.
Can't win if you don't shoot.
The coach picked the wrong players, plain and simple. This was not a cohesive team, but a bunch of individuals who did not pass well, defend well, hardly did anything well.
They also were arrogant, and that is the death knell for a team.
Be humble, ALWAYS - these tournaments are never as clear cut as they seem. All the "experts" have been wrong about the final four (except for Germany). So, blame the coach? Ultimately yes.
Because everything flows from him- the selection, the game plan and also the inspiration; he has to make his players WANT to play and win for HIM. Parreira didn't have that quality.

Yes I do. Ronaldo shouldnt be out in front all by himself. Just because he holds the record for scoring the most goals in the World Cup history doesnt mean he can work well alone up front. But it's not just because of that. The coach just didn't pick the right players to play. He should have substituted in other players when the starters werent doing anything! Now, Brazil is out of the World Cup. I hope the coach is very happy with himself =(

Brazil lost not because of the formation, but because they didn't get enough shots on goal.

Robinho had a great chance right in front of the net with Ronaldinho setting him up with a header. He must of shot it like 15 feet wide.

Brazil choked. They played like the game would be given to them, and they deserved to lose.

France isn't even that good. I hope Brazil shapes up next time.

Brazil lost because they bought into the hype surrounding their team. They forgot that they actually had to play and win the game to get to the next round, not just show up and be declared winners. The coach deserves some of the blame, but from what I saw, the Brazilian players just didn't look motivated at all. Bye bye, Brazil.

I agree. Not only Brazil, Argentina and England also lose for their coach's stupidity.
