If you have big problem, probably 2 times per week for a month.

I think once you are past the bad part, once per month or every 2 weeks is enough.

Better than stupid medical doctors who would rather give you surgury you don't need so they can make millions.

Chiropractors are pretty smart, just make sure you get a good one with some experience, a new one might not be too good.

Chiropractic care helps decrease nerve pressure and also improves joint function. Your muscles have a memory to them, and chiropractic treatment helps teach them proper position. This is no different than doing physical therapy or going to a gym. If you were trying to improve your physique by going to the gym, how long would it take if you went once a week verses three times a week? Not only would it require more time, but also more visits. That being said...it does not mean that you should have to go forever. There should be a reasonable time period to get rid of your problem, and your doctor should tell you what he is trying to accomplish, and when that is accomplished, you are done. Going for monthly or bimonthly maintenance visits, like going to a dentist for a check up, is a good idea. But that depends on your personal views of health.

If you need chiropractic treatments too often, you should do something against the cause.

Go for a manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax - the effects are simply amazing. Since then I've been to a chiropractor once - and never anymore.

Try it - just the treatment is available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars.

Your chiropractor will tell you not to go... Think about the reasons.

Some people seem to think so. I personally feel that I have benefited from Chiropratic care. I have been going 3 times a week for the past 90 days for a chronic condition. My doesn't just do spinal manipulation but all weight training and excercises to strenghen and retrain muscles to help keep the spine in proper alignment.

The Chiropractor NEEDS you to come in regularly. So they can get your money.

I question whether YOU need it at all. Bones don't move muscles, muscles move bones. Everything I have seen them do seems like a carnival huckster.

If you believe that they can press on your back and one leg will suddenly be longer than it was a minute ago, then you should let me sell you a time-share on my ocean front property in North Dakota. To actually accomplish this feat would require significant surgery. And frankly everyone has a slight difference in the length of their legs and the height of their ears and all sorts of imbalances between one side and the other. Do you think they could pop your back and even up your ears?

If you let one of those goobers touch your neck or head you are asking for pain, suffering and trouble. Several people die from that each year. One of them was a friend of mine, she suffered much at their hands and just got worse and worse and died of complications from their treatments.

Seems like they have the answer to questions nobody but them is asking. Wonder why that is!?!

Go find a skilled massage therapist if you really need some one to rub on your back.

I go three or four times a year for a tune up.

However, when you're first starting chiropractic, whether for an injury or just to realign, it takes a number of sessions at first, several times a week; your muscles need to be retrained.

I've always thought chiropractors were kind of creepy. They seem like quacks to me. Ever see those ads they put in your junk mail? It's a generic telling about how they got chiro help, how their kids are all adjusted at birth etc. etc. Plus, they claim it cures just about everything. If it works so well why do you have to keep going back? I know people who have gone for years. They could have something seriously wrong with them & because they go to the chiro, the problem is never diagnosed correctly. Cancer for example causes back pain. I am not a believer.

yes, you should go about two times a week. but you should make sure you have a good chiropractor who is really adjusting the spine not just releiving pressure so blood will go through. make sure he/she isnt a quack.

your spine has natural curves in the neck and in the lower back. when you go to the chiro, he helps fix any straightening of the spine. also, it will help you to lead a healthy life with less osteoporosis. but also, as we age, we start to get shorter because our spine is curving more. going to the chiro is preventative medicine and will help you to have less aches and pains.

If you are not taking something to keep the spine lubricated then yes, I was going very often until I started taking a patented glucosamine supplement, now my back has never felt better.

Some people need alot of help, some don't, some don't need it at all.
My spine seems to twist itself out of alignment every couple of weeks and i have it pushed back into place by my chiropractor.
It all depends on what and how you do things.
