I usually buy computer parts from ebay since there are a lot of wholesale sellers on ebay and I have never had a bad experience with them. I always look at feedback so I trust how the site operates.
I used to sell intangible things on ebay and made a lot of profit. There are people who would buy online things for real life money such as tokens for pogo.com and simoleans for sims online.

We find it very useful for selling, and also for buying things. My wife began selling on ebay back in the latter part of 2001. She went to powerseller status in less than a year, and today we ship worldwide. If it weren't for ebay, we wouldn't have built our brand new home (we just moved in it a couple months ago and it's great). We're thankful for ebay even though we pay them a pretty penny every month.
If you're considering selling on ebay, my only recommendation is GO FOR IT! I don't know if this will help you with any decisions you're facing presently, but I'll supply some links below to a few of our pages from our website. As a matter of fact, I just recently signed up for ebay (my own account that is...not my wife's), and I just put together my very first ebay About Me page today. I'm not actually wanting to sell on there, but rather to teach inside the ebay platform.
If you do get started selling, I wish you the VERY BEST, and I hope you succeed. If you have any further questions, take advantage of the links to the many resources provided throughout our site. Start with these links and then go from there.

I sure wish I had bought stock when it went public.
Many people make a living selling on eBay. It's like any job ... the harder you work the more you sell.
I take a look at eBay listings before I buy just about anything. Norton's anti-virus is at least a third of the cost of what you'd pay in the store.
My digital camera was a nice deal.

Sure,
Ebay is a wonderful resource for selling things. I think you should register with paypal first, which can be a little annoying the fist time, but once you are set, you will be a total ebayer. I think you may enjoy it. I know I do. It's like an online garage sale. I don't throw most of my stuff away anymore because I know someone may buy it on ebay. And you can even make the buyer pay for S&H.

I know of a lot of people who buy and sell on eBay. Some sold rapidly raising ITs to make money while others did it to get rid of items that are no longer needed. My girlfriend is trying to sell books on eBay.

I do.
I use it all of the time for everything from the laptop I'm typing on right now to some of my textbooks. Everything is on there at great prices. Just make sure you do your research and buy from someone with a good record.

Ebay is probably the largest online marketplace out there. My dad has gotten good prices for his guitars. I haven't sold anything yet, but I am beginning to consider it.
