Dawn, I will be 32 on July 15th and I feel your pain. I was so depressed when I turned 30. I literally cried. I thought it meant I should act like a wife and mom and forget about having fun and I quickly found out that I was overreacting. I went and got a tattoo. :) I went and bought some trendy new clothes and went and got a haircut, a mani and a pedi. I was still a little depressed but mainly just thinking about the number 30. I am fine with my age until it is birthday time every year. I am starting to see, though, that life truly begins at 30. You are mature enough to know right from wrong, but still young enough to be young and act young. I wish I could tell you more to help you out, but trust me you will get over it. Just make sure to take really good care of yourself. Focus alot on your skin. Take good care of your face and invest in some good anti wrinkle cream. Seriously, I have a nightly regimen that takes at least 45 minutes every night. When I tell people my age they are astonished. You are gonna be okay, give it a couple weeks after your birthday and the blues will fade. Good luck.

The stress hit me when I turned 25. I know that sounds stupid but I realized I would be a quarter of a century. I cried for 4 days. 30 didn't bother me at all. I was working with a girl who turned 30 right before I did and she was a mess. She kept saying, I will be turning 30 and I'm not married, I don't have any kids and I don't even have a boyfriend. I was in the same position she was but I didn't care. She stressed enough for both of us. This past June 17th I turned 45. I have a beautiful 8 year old daughter and life is great. Just relax and enjoy. My 30's were great. My 40's have been good also. I have a few more creaks and pops when I stand up but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

lol yes my sister did because she felt like she was getting old but the older you get the more you think about how fast lifes pasting you by and so once you tell your self and beleave that you can't stop your self from getting older then you will keep getting streaa just the fact is your knowing that your time will be come up so and fast too. that what happen to my sister and she 31 now and i help her get over by telling her that life is flying past you because your not taking time just to feel a live your not thinking of anything but what you need to do and now that you hit 30 your know now that soon your life will come to a end and now that your realizing that your stress think of all the things that you have to do before time up but like i said that was my sister you my be the same your not all i can tell you is take life one day at a time and don't be so in a hury to get thing done but don't be lazy eather i told my sister for one day when you don't have work just to stop at a place that you like she like wal-mart and i told her just go there one day and shop with out looking for anything and just look at everything that's there you fine samething good get it and tell you one thing she did that and she stayed there for 7 hour looking at everything that they had and now she ok in the fact that she getting older just how people say take the time to smell the rose and have a nice day to

It's only a number. What's the difference between 20, 30, 40 , or 50??? Nothing. It's all a state of mind.

Get over it??? Find something to do that reminds you of your teens or 20's and do it.

I WILL BE 47 ON JULY 12TH. WHEN I TURNED 30 I TOOK IT PRETTY HARD. I FELT OLD. WHEN I TURNED 40 IT DIDN'T BOTHER ME TO MUCH. WHAT IT ALL COMES DOWN TO IS AGE IS JUST A NUMBER. LIFE IS JUST WHAT YOU MAKE IT AND REMEMBER YOU ARE AS YOUNG AS YOU FEEL SO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

age is only a mile marker of how long we've been on the journey of life....age does not determine what kind of person you are, how you act, or the true nature of yourself....with age comes wisdom and knowledge....embrace it....love it...enjoy it....
