Because its coming from someone else who was raised differently from you.
Change causes dis-scomfort.
Change is also a chance for character building.
We are not perfect, so when we learn of others different way of love, we can try to love like them.

It does when you are with someone who either doesn't feel the same way about you, or doesn't share your value system. It is too easy to give in to passion and set those realities aside until it is too late, and ultimately that's the root of all relationship problems.

because so many emotions are involved. and most of the time one person loves the othere more. unless ther is mutual respect for the others feelings than pain is going to be involved.

Because we allow someone treat us with disrespect and say he or she will not do it again. If someone truely loves you they will try hard not to hurt you. Not to say love doesn't hurt sometimes but it shouldn't make us feel bad about ourselves. We are human and make mistakes but not more than once.
