Umm, I'm pretty sure forgery is a felony. Which means there is no statute of limitations.

It depends on the state, most are about two to three years, Federal is five years. This does not apply if they know who you are and have issued a warrant for your arrest, only if they discover the crime after the statute of Limitations passes. God luck.
