It doesn't seem fair does it? The best you can do is give what you can give to those who are starving. Don't feel guilty for your success or your blessings. Instead use them to help others. Make small sacrifices. Any help you can give to those less fortunate is appreciated - no matter how great or small.

Well i don't really know why you are rich, but i know why there are people starving. Because they have no money. Or they possibly live in a less fortunate country. It's not your fault. If you are feeling guilty start volunteering and helping out the poor and the homeless. It's a good thing to do. Not just for you but for everyone.

You rich because most likely the country that you live in is not under an unjust dictator. I would venture to guess you live in a country in a democracy. People that are starving are living in a country who's government is currupt. For an example: There musical artist that do concerts for world hunger have good intentions, but them gving money to that country is not going to get the job done because that money goes to communist dictator's back pocket. World hunger is always going to be a problem sadly there is really nothing we can do about it. Until these dictors are over turned there will always be this problem. What I would suggest to you is what I do, is to send some of your money to orgaizations like "Feed the Children." Your christain organizations will mostly likly send the money for the intended purpose. Let me know if this helped you in anyway.

Rich is all a matter of perspective. Even very poor people in the USA are rich compared to most people in 3rd world countries. If you want to help, use your money to invest and get richer. Then use your money to make a difference. Perhaps run for public office. Money is power. Use your power to make the world a better place. The people who have power can either indulge their own interests or be unselfish and use their power to enrich others lives. Money doesn't solve problems, money in the right hands solve problems.

If this is true, if you sincerely care... then donate to a worthy cause, sink wells for water in small villages in third world countries.
If I were rich, it's what I'd do.
This is where the late Catherine Cookson spent her wealth and willed her monies to.
Provide clothing for the victims of disasters.
Build a hospice somewhere where it's really needed.
And do it quietly, without seeking reward or fame or having anything named after you, it will not go unnoticed by God.
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than it is for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven"
I don't need to say who that one came from do I?
Give it all away if it troubles you and follow Him!

I hope it is because you worked for it. If not, maybe you can use some of your riches to help starving people.

Cause and effect. There's also a reason why you're in this position, and it's a good sign that you're asking this question. Figure it out for yourself, do you want to make a difference in this world, and if so, how? I for one want to eventually be in a position where I could invest a quarter of my salary into a worthy cause ie aid projects in the third world, a quarter into kitting my home out with a fully fledged solar power system and the remainder into developing myself and my partner. So go and have a think about it, and don't get into the excuses why you shouldn't do something until after you've committed your ideas to paper.

You have oviously done well for yourself whilst others have not had the same chances due mainly to thier demographic birthplace.
Remember one thing my son
When you die part of the funeral service says You bring nothing into this world and you take nothing out when you die.
So what are you going to do with your wealth. Squander it on yourself or are you going to be phillanthropic and help good causes. Poverty and starvation in Africa is a good start.
Whilst I have been typing this another 20 children have died.
Food for thought
