Look at the years that Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Johan Santana, Francisco Liriano, Joe Nathan and Juan Rincon are having. What is sad is that Ozzie Guillen, being the egomanaic that he is, will choose an abundant ammount of White Sox to the team once again sticking it to the Twins. Just wondering what you all thought about it.

The fans are putting Ozzie in a bind, as they've loaded the starting roster with members of the Yankees and Red Sux, many of whom do not deserve to be starting (Robinson Cano? Jason Varitek?).

Each team must have one representative, so that ties his hands as well. He really only has a few positions to fill, and do you leave off guys like Konerko and Dye for someone like Morneau? Mauer will be there, as will Santana.

Frankly, you need to get your head out of your *** and look at the situation from the perspective of the manager who has to field the team to win the game so that his league can get the extra game at home in the World Series. If you want to blame anyone for the situation, blame the morons in New York and Boston who stuffed the ballot boxes with their favorite also-ran players who shouldn't even be allowed to sell hot dogs at PNC.

The Twins don't need to be on the al star team. Everyone knows that these hitters are good and that is all that needs to be said. None of the Twins hitters are big money popular hitters so they will not be chosen. Who knows, Mauers hot streak could end. When it is no longer a hot streak and he has developed himself as a great player consistently, then look for him on the all-star team. In the meantime the Twins will keep winning, and hopefully catch their rivals.

I do believe many Twins should go, but with undeserving big market players in New York in Boston going, it leads to Twins/Sox that deserve to go being left off, and Ozzie is the coach of the Sox and not the Twins, leaving the Twins with a small representation.

As always, the All-Star game is a popularity contest. Unless the commissioner decides to make some alterations as to how much fan voting counts, this won't change.
