I think the Toyota Tundra is --that 32 valve V8 engine (same one used in the big Lexus) may be the best gas engine ever manufactured.

Chevy (Older Trucks) Beleive it or not, I saw a 1975 Chevy 3/4 ton tow truck in Van Horne Tex. Pulling a freightliner Conv. with a sleeper and a '53 trailer on the frontage road, doing about 50 mph. that is a semi. Now that has balls!

each truck is diverse. Mileage isn't pretty a lot a sort. you should think about what sort of using the owner did, what sort of work (towing etc.) and if it became kept in good structure in the time of its existence. i imagine 125k is a incredibly standard mileage for a ninety 8-02, yet keep in recommendations because it is your first vehicle that such issues as shocks, brakes (even drums), water pumps and belts will placed on out over the years and also you would possibly want to be prepared to do slightly paintings to keep the truck operating.

I've had Ford my whole life, never had a problem. The one I have now, a 99 F250 P.stroke, has been to hell and back. A real rough life for a p-up, and she's going strong today. I think allot has to do with maintenance.

I think Chevy Silverado full size quad cab (or any other Chevy truck) is the best. It's has balls, but is you prefer to littler then go with S10 or along those lines.

Depends on what you're putting them through. Street and dirt roads, CHEVY. But 4x4ing definatley Toyota. I had a 1985 Toyota SR5 (4 cylinder) 4x4 and it took me every where. Never a problem.
