I just received a letter from CSE saying they were gonna close my case for my non-cooperation. I called them and was very upset, for 8 years now I have given them everything I know, everytime I find something out. Now, they know where he is and they still haven't done anything. I just don't know what else to do. I understand they have a lot of cases but 8 years is a long time to wait for no help. He even went to court with CSE and he was sent home because I was not informed, therefore I wasn't there. When I found out I went to the local office and they said it was not their responsibility to let the custodial parent know everything. I was my job to call. What else can i do????????

You didn't say what state you are in. The Child Support Enforcement varies from state to state. If the child support office is doing this for free, then you might want to consider hiring an attorney to prosecute the matter for you. Contact your local or state bar association for a referral.

Child Support also uses attorneys, because only an attorney (or yourself) can represent you in court. If you have the name of the attorney, and feel that they haven't adequately done their job, you can complain to your state bar association. (Look in the telephone book for your capital city).

One other suggestion: I would investigate the heirarchy of the Child Support Enforcement. If you are getting poor service from your local office, find out who is in charge, and who their bosses are. You may have to climb the food chain quite a bit. Remember, the people who you are dealing with are often horribly underpaid, and dreadfully overworked.
