My feet really don't skink but I've got two pairs of sandals that just reek. I've tried washing them. I've tried deodarant but still it remains. Other than buying new sandals does anyone have any suggestions.

You need something to absorb the smell like Baking Soda or Charcoal. Also try leaving them in the sun for a week or so, that can get rid of the smell. There are also some special products available in pharmacys to treat smelly shoes.

I ran into that recently with my tennis shoes. Try putting baking soda on your sandals and letting it sit until you wear them again.

Have you tried Dr.Scholls foot inserts? They are made with charcoal which absorbs sweat..which causes odor. You don't want to spray anything inside of your shoes because that only masks the odor for a short period of time. Then you will have perfumy/stinky shoes,LOL.

The best way to get rid of a smell (stink!) in your shoes is to sprinkle baking soda on or in them. It's a natural way to rid unwanted odors from your clothing and shoes.

2 products i use are ajax powder and greased lightning. ajax is good because it has bleach in it that kills bacteria (which make odor). if you cant use a bleaching agent..then use greased lightning.

use a toothbrush with either substance,,rinse well and set in sun to dry
