I don't recite the pledge, I recite a poem of nonsense words.

Hype ledger lesions tuna flag
Humpty untied it skates of a miracle
Canned tuna we publish, four midgets stand
Carnation, invisibile
With licorice and jugs of wine for owls.

Read it out loud. ;-)

when I was in school (120 years ago) I pledged to the flag, and , therefore to the country, every day. I loved America and still do in spite of the idiotic nonsense that goes on in our government today. When I was in the military I saluted the flag every day when it was lowered for the night. I fought for this country and I was proud to be an American then and now. Every see the photo of the Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima? Still gives me goose bumps. Do you know how many Marines had to die before they raised the flag? The flag then (and now) stands for America and there should always be respect for it. NO FLAG BURNING and a salute to it whenever the occasion arises.

i assume you're talking about the american flag. well, i don't pledge allegiance to the flag or country because america is not my country even though i technically live within the borders that the country claims to exist within. i think that one's nationality is that which flows in his/her blood and shows through in all his/her actions, so i can definitely say that i'm not an american. however, i do stand up when others "pledge" (although i have reason to doubt the wholeheartedness of many others' pledges) with a sort of respect for others. the hero strikes again!

First off, you should be learning how to spell and the correct sentence structures in school. Second, I did not say the pledge when I was in school because it conflicted with my religious views.

The flag is just a symbol. I don't believe in allegiance to a symbol. This country has my allegiance, as long as it continues to protect my rights of free speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly etc. The day it stops is the day it loses my loyalty.

In my high school, no one actually said the pledge, we all just stood for it. The teacher usually said it, but usually the students didn't. It's kind of hard to have pride in a country who is killing innocent people on the other side of the world...

Not really, all the Americans here have an allegiance to our county, were not here to mooch off the tax payers for the free education...my opinion... don't like it, move to France.

By the way sounds like your taking full advantage of that ed..du..me...cation in skewl...

Please write in proper English.

Skewl is school
ne is any

This type of writing will not get you far in life. Practice proper English, both writing and speaking so you are prepared for the real world outside of school.

In school does no one teach you how to spell and make an understandable question?

We stopped doing that some time around middle school. I think they decided it's too much a waste of time.
