My husband has been a Realtor for 2 and 1/2 years. We are still not making a steady income. Are there any successful Realtors out there who can give me an idea of how long it takes to really get some steady income?
Also, is there a time when you know that you should give up, that it's just not going to work?
I believe that my husband makes a very good Realtor. I've worked with him on many occassions. I would say that he really needs to work on being organized, but I keep thinking that will come with time.
Any advice from other Realtors would be greatly appreciated.

I am currently supporting us as an editor/proofreader, but Realtors have lots of expenses that makes it difficult - MLS fees, gas, license fees, office fees, insurance, advertising, et cetera, et cetera.

It depends where you live and your market.
One of you needs to do something else so that you both will not fail together.
