Try going first. My husband is the least romantic man on the planet, but when I do little romantic things for him, he gets the hint and trys to out-do me. I leave love notes in his lunch box, write messages on the bathroom mirror, leave something special in his car. Just some little something that lets him know I love him. I think he starting giving back to be guilt free, but it caught on and now we romantisize each other often.

You have to tell him what you need before he can supply it. Communication is key.
You both might enjoy "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. There are Christian overtones to the book, so if you are of another faith, just kinda skim over that part.
The theories presented are solid. I'll bet the two of you would hae fun finding out what each of you need to give and to receive from the other to make your marriage strong!

You should probably spend some more time showing appreciation for the things he is doing or has done. If you have been critical of him in the past, he is probably not going to want to do those things again. You need to take a different approach.

If he does not respond . You respond. Tell him what you want in kinda wierd ways. Do you fix a lunch for him?
Put a note in his box.
Do you really apreciate him? If he is a man that works alot he is trying to be a good provider.If he is not ,my bad.
Men like to be praised for what they do Rub your man down. try these type of things for a while get some type of response. If he does not ignore him .Not physically.

Give him a good reason to be romantic.... a man wants to come home to a sexy, happy, loving wife.... what you give to him in the way of little loving gestures will be repaid 10X by him.

Unfortunately some men are lacking in those departments...You won't be able to change him probably. That is why it's important to fall in love with a guy that has the qualities you are looking for.

tell him how important it is to you. One thing most women dont' think of.......these things aren't important to most men (not all) so they simply don't realize how important they are to their wives.
If he needs you to clarify......compare it to oral sex for him and see how fast those flowers start coming home. LOL
