Hey guys, I'm from Illinois but I have a second home in Michigan, and I'm planning to spend the 4th of July there, and I was wondering how much fireworks in Indiana usually cost, as I drive through Indiana to get to Michigan. I have a fireworks budget of about $25, as I also have to pay for food and beer. Is there any way to purchase a good assortment for that much money?

By "good", I mean, something that shoots in the air instead of fizzling on the ground. All I am looking for is some clean fun with nice affordable fireworks to share with my wife and the family.

Here in KS, we got 2 bags for $35. But we had coupons! We got 6 "party balls" for $1.89! Good Luck! Be Safe!
Oh yeah, Indianapolis puts on a killer show, downtown off of a sky scraper! Veterans Memorial Park (1x3blocks) is a good place to watch!

OK, this is the tongue-in-cheek answer. I'm a Hoosier (born, raised, and living in Indiana). The answer is usually more than a Hoosier can afford to spend. Sadly, many people spend more on fireworks for a holiday (or pre-holiday or any other day that's special to them) than on reading materials for their children.
