use a thin tissue and press it on your face ......if fore head and nose area show oily staining then you have a combination skin which is oily in the T zone. is cheek also show staining then you have oily skin....if you have a soft skin without this staining then you are lucky to have normal skin....if your skin chapps in winter then it is definitly dry skin

Dry Skin - Take a piece of tape and tape it on an area of your skin, after 30 seconds, peel it off fast. See some flakes? You have dry skin.

Oily - Skin is shiny a half-hour after you shower. You tend to get a lot of acne on oily areas.

Normal - You have both dry & oily areas.

Your skin type? I don't know what "skin time" is. Oily skin is well, oily, and people with oily skin tend to break out a lot more than people with dry skin, which means you might have occasional patches of dryness on your skin.
