Has anyone tried this? If so, did you live?

You would not get good nitroglycerin from this procedure. The industrial process is much more exacting (including starting with glycerin, not soap). Most likely, you'd just end up spilling some of the nitric acid on yourself which is extremely painful and turns the skin it touches yellow.

It will never stop foaming eventually it will evaperate over a period of 1 month if you open it if not it will build up and exploed or start leaking around the jar rim

I haven't tried this but I don't think the soap would do a lot.

That's the recipe for nitroglycerin, an explosive.

I don't think much of anything would really happen. I think you are thinking it will make nitroglycerin but I think there is more to it than that. There is probably another reagent needed.
