I have no idea what a YUGIOH DECK is, only thing that comes to my mind is, a deck on your home or a deck of cards. Sorry I'm no help to you, but the best of wishes when you find out.

It largely depends on what format you want to play. If you want to play Traditional then the much hated CCCC(Cookie Cutter Chaos Control) is a good deck. For Advanced, there are alot more options. The most popular deck is called Chaos Return. Its based around removing big beefy monsters for Chaos Sorceror and then using Return From A Different Dimension to bring back your removed monsters and swing for game. Here's a link to a sample decklist: http://yugioh.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=761
I suggest you not copy it card for card but tailor it to your own style and budget.

I am talking in terms of advanced format here:
Well it depends how much money you have to spend on cards. If you want something strong and hard to beat, you would want to build a CYBER DRAGON deck. These are expensive though.
Cyber dragon's effect makes it worthwhile if you can use it just right:
Name: Cyber Dragon
Level: 5
Type: Machine
Attribute: Light
Attack: 2100
Defence: 1600
If there is a monster on your opponent's side of the field and there are no monsters on your side of the field, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.
In this you can add Chaos Sorcerors and other easy to summon and brutal cards.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another suggestion for the person with less money is a Warrior deck. Warriors are easy to use and have great effects. If you buy the Warrior's Triumph Structure Deck, you get your hands on some of the best warriors to date.
Of course for a personal touch, you would adapt the deck to your own likings, like adding some staples in (Staples=Cards that should be in every deck, like Lightning Vortex, Book Of Moon, Mirror Force, Premature Burial, etc...)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
An even cheaper deck to build is an ojama deck. About $20 to make (BUY CHAZZ DUELIST PACKS) :
There are 4 ojamas to date. Ojama Yellow, Black and Green, as well as the king.
They have 0 atk and 1000 def (while the king has 0 atk and 3000 def). They seem useless at first, but they can do alot. Get all 3 ojamas on the field and activate Ojama Delta Hurricane to destroy ALL cards on their side of the field. But what about winning???
Well... for a start, the king has an effect that renders 3 of your opponent's monster spaces useless. This limits their monsters to 2. So a good strategy would be to get all 3 ojamas and use Ojama Delta Hurricane, and then fuse them with Polymerisation to summon the king and use his great effect. Cards like shield and sword are good for reversing the king's ATK and DEF, but in my opinion, I would use some other different monsters.
My favourite to run with ojamas is insects. But only a few:
2 Anteatereatingant (Special Summon Only by tributing 2 spells/traps on your side of the field + has 2000 ATK and can destroy spells and traps)
3 Gokipon (When destroyed, add one insect with 1500 Atk or less from your deck to hand)
And any other insects you see fit.
Trust me, they work well together!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's it for now.
Just for your unformation, I run a Spellcaster Master deck. (Containing Dark Magician and his many backup cards and staples as well as Jinzo, Chaos Sorcerer and many more cards).
I hope I have helped! ^_^

Honestly, there really isn't a "good strategy" for Yu-Gi-Oh! It probably depends on your personal preference and the decks of everyone around you.
For instance, if everyone around you is Beatdown with nothing considered "Anti-Control", a Control deck would work for you. Like I said, it's based on the people around you and yourself. Think of something you'll like and work from there.

well use cards that work together like pot of greed to draw stuff and magic cards that will allow u to summon the more powerful monsters without sacrificeing a ton of monsters but if u do have to sacrafice but cant get any monsters on the field long enough to summon the more powerful monster and u have lots of monsters in your graveyard or more powerful monsterrs in ur graveyard use something like return from diferent dimension it will allow u to take 5 cards from the grave and place them on the field if u pay half of ur life points u can also send the powerful monsters from ur hand then use monster reborn of return from different demension to bring them back to keep ur lifepoints up u can play acard that stops magic cards from being destroyed then play 2 or 3 chorus of sanctuary and u got tons of lifepoints and my best advise choose cards thet work together

Yep. You should have a lot of connecting cards that work together and are linked so they benefit.

it mainly depends on what kind of cards you like. for example i payed $38.00 for all three god cards i was almost unstoppable until some one stole them. my point is it depends on what cards you are best with and how well you are able to use different cards to help other cards.
