5) Is it just a saying that implies that from the moment a woman gets married, she is not supposed to have sexual
relations with other men? If this is it, Huh, Big Lie. lol
6) What is then, the concept for an unmarried woman?

Maybe youre referring to the phrase "making an honest woman out of her"? This alludes to making sure a woman isnt having sex out of marriage, as historically and religiously, it has been shameful for a woman to have sex out of marriage. I know this concept sounds outdated in today's society, but it really wasnt all that long ago 50' and early60's in the US were still a time of morality regarding sex and yes its derived from Christian ideology

Yes, because a woman was not considered decent until she was married. I don't think modern times would agree with this old-fashioned expression though. Perhaps today's society might say it's the other way around (a woman marries a man and that makes him decent).

1) Some might, especially if the man has already had sexual relations with the woman. They want to make it right for the both of them. Maybe the woman was "decent" before the man mad her "unclean". It would be better if both of them would wait until married, if possible. And it is good to have a decent spouse many ways. But I do not think that any man can make a woman decent, other than God and woman itself. Man should work on his own decency.
2) Who knows, it depends on woman, and circumstances.
4)Sex is the gift of God for married couple. God want us to be married frst before we have sex.
3) Decent woman honors God and rely on His wisdom.
5) Why to get married if you still want to sleep around. This starts to get really rediculous...
6) Sex is God's gift to married couple. Sex before marriage is called fornication, sex with other peson than your married spouse while married is called adultery. Both are sins by God.

I think when a man wants to marry a women it is because he is totally in love with her and wants to be with her for the rest of his life. Marriage is a compromise. Individuals need to listen and repect one another they become one part of the same team. Not indivuduals who point and put down each other when they are not perfect. It is a long lasting friendship with themselves and God. And having sexual intercourse with one person is fine and a lot of couples do just that.

probably referring to a time when being a wife was respectable, and being a spinster looked down upon...like in pride and predjudice.
