My Friend Changes Tunes Too Much.?

I have a friend who is great and fun to be around, but whenever we both are around this group of people who are (but not always) friendly, he acts like I'm dirt. Any ideas on why he does this?

that group of people might just be populerand she wants to be populer too.

he doesn't want anyone to take an interest in you because he wants you for himself. you are his little special prize, no one else can have you.
