Try a drink called ENSURE. It comes in many different flavors and you can find it at most grocery stores, or pharmacies.

Maybe your body's metabolism is faster than normal. You must visit a physician to know everything is OK. Do you eat too litte because of lack of appetite? If that is your case, you must take a multivitamin daily or liquid supplemets containing lysine. When the body lacks vitamins it works slowly, once the person starts taking them is like waking up metabolic processes that were asleep, so the person experiences an increase in appetite. If your metabolism is naturally fast, there is nothing to do but to perform some exercises at a gym (under the supervision of a personal trainer) that will surely help you gain weight. Hope this helps.

I honestly don't think that you are below your ideal weight. However, I am not an expert.
When I was in high school I wanted to gain weight, too. Trust me you don't want to do this. If you feel that your body contour is slim and undefined then this is a different story. Try doing some strength training to gain muscle and drink protein shakes. This will allow you to put on pounds. If you want to gain weight and not lose any fat/weight, then don't do any cardio work outs. This makes you lose weight. It's important to excersise, though so do some strength training or weight lifting.

I've got the same problem - I lost over 30 lbs. and need to gain about 15 back. I'm eating a proper diet and have added Haagen Daz ice cream to it! It's pure, with no additives. Also excercise to build up bulk and muscle tone. People think that if you're slim, you don't need to excercise. Not true. Good luck.

Love yourself if this is your natural weight then thats good.
But if you must eat foods high in cabohydrates it all depends on your metabolism and how active you are that can determine how you can gain weight.Everybody has different body types .

You have an endomorphic body type. It is normal and healthy.

If you are currently eating healthy meals and snacks, there is no healthy way to gain weight for you. Good Luck !
