Once we get a better grip on the energy crisis, it is not all about oil. We need to start working on getting the rest of the World to manage their resources better. This includes forests, water, and land management. The US hasn't done the best job since we try to control the environment instead of learning to live with it.

Oil Crisis? where is that happening? Oil Crisis is just a name the media made up to cause fear and prices to raise....There is still a large abundance of oil in the earth, Just think no ones try'd to find oil in the Antarctic (the largest Continent of the world) Water is not a crisis...the world is made up of mostly water. Fresh water is a never ending chain. Basic science here bobby water evaporates goes into he clouds hardens and forms water droplets and they fall down to the earth bringing fresh water. A world problem doubtful, Sure in some places around the world suffer from drought but they've suffered for century's like this.

Yup, and Canada has lots of both oil and water. Potable water is already at crisis levels in most of the world.

Nah, potable water is not that hard to come up with. Desalinization and purification techniques are really very good right now.

And, actually, I think once we get over our obsession with oil, we'll be a lot better off.

Our next big problem will be when America runs out of countries to declare war on or invade. What will we do next? Civil war sounds good! Water wont be a problem if there is no-one left to drink it.

Probably not. they have imminent problems to be concerned with. I do believe water is precious and some areas don't have enough now, but until a Huge drought ,there will probably be no real concern.

Nope, silly men they're worried about riots, floods, famine, and plague. They would never consider we might run out of water. It's not like we don't have the technology to turn salt water into drinking water.

I doubt if they have even given it a second thought. It is, however a very real possibility and they should be concerned.
